Garage Burglary Near You - Allerton Road

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Allerton Road,  this occurred on Fria 27th March between midnight and 2359hrs the method of entry was via an insecure door in the of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Locus is semi-detached dwelling situated on residential street. Suspect/s unknown approach dwelling, and enter rear garden, and then enter un-connected single garage, via side door, which is insecure. Once inside, Suspect/s remove a recently delivered Amazon parcel, making off with same, unseen, and in unknown direction

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Friday 27th March midnight -2359hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
